The City of Stonnington has a fantastic developmental opportunity for a passionate and experienced Urban Environment Officer. 

As the Urban Environment Officer, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and guidance pertaining to energy efficiency, water quality, water conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable purchasing for Council. Additionally, you will drive behaviour change across Council, promote and achieve outcomes for Council’s Sustainable Environment Strategy, maintain the Sustainability webpages on Council’s internal and external websites and monitor Council’s Energy Efficiency Implementation Program.

As the successful applicant you will have proficient knowledge in environmental management, environmental planning or similar fields, demonstrated project management capabilities including skills in priority setting, time management and project planning. You will have a strong ability to establish effective communication networks both internally and externally and be able to work positively and collaboratively with a small team.
