An exciting opportunity exists to join the City of Stonnington as Senior Sportsground and Turf Wicket Curator. You will be responsible for taking part in the development and maintenance of Stonnington’s sportsgrounds, with emphasis on the maintenance of turf cricket wicket tables and preparation of cricket wickets for practice and play. Additionally, you will assist with the development and maintenance of the broad range of facilities and resources in open space managed by Parks and Environment to the highest possible standard.

As the successful applicant you will have a Turf Management Trade Certificate or equivalent training and qualifications and demonstrated experience in the preparation of turf cricket wickets. Additionally, you will possess previous management and leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships. Your demonstrated ability to positively contribute in a team environment and effective written and verbal communication skills will assist in your success in this role. A current driver’s license is required.
