This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark as the manager of the City's extensive waste management services which includes in-house waste collection, recycling, regional transfer station and disposal operations.  In addition, you will be responsible for the City's vehicle fleet, plant and equipment acquisition, utilisation, maintenance and repair.

This is a challenging role which requires a strategic thinker with outstanding leadership capability to manage a large team in the delivery of a cost effective and environmentally responsible service to our community.

Reporting to the Director Infrastructure and Environment you will ensure that the business unit's key performance indicators are aligned to the City's strategic and continuity plans.

To be successful in this role, you will bring extensive experience in waste management services.  You will have strong interpersonal and influencing skills and an ability to lead the business unit and meet community expectations.

The City is offering an employment contract of up to four (4) years with a base salary in the range of $137,000 to $155,000 plus 10.5% superannuation.
