ABOUT THE ROLE

Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the dynamic Open Space Design and Development Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team to deliver significant strategies, policies, programs and projects.

You will have a wide range of knowledge and experience in developing, implementing and monitoring policies and initiatives to plan, design, develop and conserve quality open space for the City of Moreland. This role will require the capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including strong engagement with the community.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE 

Candidates will have a proven track record in managing teams, project management in the field of open space as well as possess qualifications in one or more areas of Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Open Space Planning or related disciplines and/ or relevant experience in the public realm and Local Government environment.
