Council is seeking the services of a Senior Planner to join Council's City Development team. This position will suit an Urban Planner who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You will be required to demonstrate advanced planning knowledge in the assessment of inner metropolitan proposals including residential infill, heritage, commercial and industrial land use and development and the opportunity to assess more complex applications. 

To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about working within the high paced environment of our planning assessment team and demonstrate a drive to facilitating sustainable development outcomes. You will be an individual that takes pride in the quality of your work, recognise the need to engage closely with applicants and the community to facilitate high quality town planning outcomes.

A relevant tertiary qualifications in town planning will be required with several years of experience.
