We are currently looking for an experienced Waste Operations Senior Coordinator to join our Waste Services team at the City of Greater Bendigo.

In this position you will be responsible in delivering high quality services including landfill and transfer station operations. The role will also be responsible for managing EPA compliance processes and ensure legislative requirements are adhered to, as well as providing high level advice on all waste services matters to internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this role you require extensive experience and knowledge of the legal, regulatory and political environment of Local Government and Waste Services, strong communication skills and professional leadership skills that display positive work behaviours with a genuine commitment to embedding the Organisations values and behaviours.

The successful applicant will have formal qualifications in Engineering and/or Environmental Science or lesser formal qualifications together with extensive and diverse experience in landfill management operations and compliance. A proven track record as an effective leader with managerial experience is essential.
