Change & Communication Team Leader (Waste Service)

  • Lead the development and delivery of Council’s FOGO Communication and Education Plan

 

The Change & Communications Team Leader (Waste Service) is responsible for coordinating the team that will develop and deliver the vital FOGO (Food Organics Garden Organics) Communications and Education Plan to the Banyule community. The aim is to help prepare the community for the implementation of a new organics waste collection service.

 

Key responsibilities & duties:

  • Provide day to day coordination of the FOGO project to the Communications and Education Team
  • Lead a dynamic working group charged with the development of the Communications and Education Plan
  • Lead the delivery the Plan through:
    • One on one contact with residents
    • Discussions with community groups
    • Development of media and material resources for distribution to residents
  • Provide advice and assistance to residents and staff in relation to Council’s proposed FOGO service
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of the plan actions as they are implemented

 

Qualification  & Skills Required:

  • Relevant degree, or demonstrated experience in the areas of project management and behaviour change projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in leading change behaviour project teams
  • Ability to communicate with influence
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence (or equivalent).

  • Attractive salaryrange $96,444.00 to $107,598.00 plus super
  • Temporary full time July 2021 to July 2022
