WATER RESOURCE PLANNING MANAGER
Griffith NSW location
We are seeking a highly motivated professional for the role of Water Resource Planning Manager. This position is responsible for water resource planning and analysis, research and development, and monitoring and reporting of environmental and licence obligations.
The successful applicant will have: relevant tertiary qualifications; experience in water resource planning, hydrologic modelling or environmental management; ability in financial and contract management; experience in leading and managing staff; excellent computer skills; and a current ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.
Applications should include a Murrumbidgee Irrigation application form and current resume, with a cover letter addressing ability to meet the following criteria.
- Ability to develop and implement a water resource plan to assess long-term water use.
- Ability to develop and implement performance monitoring and analysis tools; and ability to assess trends and identify future risks and opportunities.
- Ability to develop and implement programs that balance the reporting and compliance obligations of the company with stakeholders, and report on achievements and program outcomes.
- Experience in financial management, including monitoring, reporting and management of programs and contracts.
- Ability to provide leadership and effective management of reporting staff.
