The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) was established in 2002 and is the nation’s authority on sustainable buildings and communities. Your new role

Reporting to our Project Services Manager – Green Star, you will be responsible for being the interface between the industry and the Green Star Solutions team. You will be the team’s first point of contact for administrative support and providing information to customers, ensuring success of Green Star Assessments by working with our team of assessors.

 

This is a full-time role with the option of flexible working arrangements based in our activity based working office in Sydney.

 

Responsibilities

  • Green Star Certification Project database management and scheduling Green Star Assessments;
  • Field and resolve queries relating to Green Star and other sustainable building-related matters;
  • Manage calendar of appointments and emails related to Green Star Certification;
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence including project submissions and Assessor invoices;
  • Compile documents and meeting papers required to support the activities of the senior management team;
  • Arrange domestic and international travel and accommodation plans;
  • Prepare and distribute agendas for meetings, take and distribute minutes and follow up on action items.

 

Required skills and experience

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering or Architecture in a built environment discipline, Building services design and/or construction, Urban Planning.
  • 1-2 years administrative experience
  • Strong customer service focus and skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability in a fast paced and changing environment
