The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) was established in 2002 and is the nation’s authority on sustainable buildings and communities. Your new role

Reporting to the Project Services Manager – Green Star, this role will see you being responsible for facilitating the Green Star certification process by supporting external project teams and Certificated Assessors. You will also ensure our stakeholders receive a positive customer experience therefore an ability to communicate and interact effectively in a timely manner with a range of stakeholders is a must!

 

This is a full-time role with the option of flexible working arrangements based in our activity based working office in Sydney.

 

Responsibilities

  • Answer project team questions around technical aspects and certification process;
  • Review assessment comments and liaise with Certified Assessors to finalise assessment comments;
  • Maintain records within project databases;
  • Assist in the review and upkeep of Green Star rating tool scorecards, calculators and technical content for credits.

 

Required skills and experience

  • Tertiary degree with 1-2 years’ experience in either:

-       Engineering in a built environment-related discipline

-       Building services design and/or construction

-       Urban planning – design and/or construction

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Adaptability in a fast paced and changing environment
