Project Coordinator - Sustainability

About the role

We are excited to offer an opportunity to further shape the green building industry in Australia.  This role will see you being responsible for providing project coordination for a variety of key strategic projects for the Head of Market Transformation.

You will have the opportunity to provide strategic input into the development of GBCA products and services (including Green Star), manage stakeholder relations and produce high quality documents and deliverables as well as provide support to the  Green Star Solutions team as directed.

As this is a keyrole in the Market Transformation team you will gain valuable exposure in the sustainable development field.

This is a full-time 18 month contract role with the option of flexible working arrangements, based in our 5 Star Green Star rated Sydney office located opposite Hyde Park.

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Develop stakeholder roadmaps and keep a record of all relevant feedback from meetings
  • Prepare project proposals, track timeframes, schedules and budget
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assist with project schedules, identifying and coordinating resources
  • Review and analyse processes and procedures and provide feedback for improvement
  • Provide input on process, content and deliverables
  • Identify partnership opportunities and help develop business cases and briefs
  • Provide input on content and visual design

Required skills and experience

  • Tertiary degreeor similar in either:

- Project management, business management; or

- Design, such as graphic design, industrial design

  • Experience with environmental rating systems and ESD concepts within the built enviornment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Adaptability in a fast paced and changing environmnet
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of Green Star desired
