The Department of Water (DoW) Water Science Branch is seeking suitably qualified Environmental Officers to join a dynamic team to work across one or more work areas. Energetic, well organised individuals are invited to apply for selection into a pool from which candidates will be selected for specific work areas.

Candidates should have skills and experience in one or more of the following listed or similar areas: Phytoplankton taxonomy, environmental or aquatic chemistry, algal ecology, river science, estuary science, water quality, oceanography, catchment and estuary modelling and environmental statistics. 

Qualified candidates will be selected for a pool from which positions will be filled based on job specific skills as they become available. Current vacancies exist for phytoplankton taxonomists and river scientists in the Perth CBD.
