Team Leader, Policy & Regulation Unit
- VPS 5.2 $100,431 - $109,969 p.a plus 9.5% superannuation (ongoing)

This position is a leadership role within the Policy and Regulation Unit. The primary focus of the role is the day-to-day management of a team of five to eight policy officers in the areas of Waste and Contaminated Environments (other areas include Water, Air, Noise). This will include managing individual workloads, priorities and providing direction to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. The position is responsible for building the effectiveness of the team by training, developing, coaching and motivating team members to deliver on unit and corporate objectives.
This role requires leadership in setting the direction for policy and regulation for EPA Victoria. The role is a critical interface into the Victorian Government on policy issues. Important to this role is providing leadership and guidance to a team and experience and expertise working on strategy, policy and legislation. This role is critical to leading and influencing strategies and standards that safeguard the environment and community from future impacts.
