How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Lead Water Resources Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of the Waterways team who are changing the way we design and deliver resilient, sustainable infrastructure that minimises flood and stormwater impacts on the environment and our community. You’ll be part of our Queensland Land & Water team based in our Brisbane office. Our team works on a range of projects, providing feasibility, concept design including detailed design delivered for transport, water, industrial and government agency clients. 

Your role will include:

• 10+ years (min) of experience in water resources:
  • Hydrologic risk assessment, water resources management
  • Hydraulic modelling
  • Mine water management / industrial site water management
  • Water quality modelling and management
  • Drainage design / hydraulic structure design
• Assist in growing water management capability within the Water Resources team by managing, motivating and mentoring staff
• Ability to manage opportunities through the entire life cycle (lead, proposal, delivery, and close out) in accordance with the Aurecon methodology
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain and build strong client relationships
