The purpose of the role is to provide leadership and expertise to manage a collaborative maintenance contract to deliver electrical, mechanical and facilities maintenance throughout Sydney Water.

In the role you will;

- Manage a team of 25 staff dedicated to efficiently running the outsourced maintenance activity and work with contractors and major stakeholders to ensure service is delivered efficiently and effectively.

- Manage key stakeholder relationships including treatment plant managers, network managers, major contractors, suppliers, finance, procurement, asset management, IT, environmental, risk and assurance.

To be successful you will need;
- Experience in contract management with demonstrated success in alliancing or collaborative contracting arrangements.
- A thorough understanding of maintenance workforce management.
- Experience developing and optimising maintenance activity.
- The ability to drive a safety culture and develop continuous improvement.
- Strong networking and stakeholder management skills.
- Great communication skills and be comfortable engaging with all levels of staff.
- Well connected to emerging asset maintenance and commercial contract partnering trends.
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience.
