The City of Sydney is seeking an enthusiastic individual, who shows initiative and a willingness to learn and assist in the delivery of environmental health and public health related services, to join our Health and Building team.
You will have the opportunity to gain high level experience in all aspects of environmental health and public health including pollution control, food safety, skin penetration control, legionella control, land contamination assessment and participate in programs related to the strategic objectives of Sustainable Sydney 2030.
Our Health and Building team offers a very friendly and helpful working environment, which supports all of its staff members through in-house professional development and assistance, whilst recognising the importance of a balance between work and lifestyle commitments. To be suited to this role you will possess tertiary qualifications in an environmental health related discipline and have related experience in regulatory inspections and compliance. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team.
