To assist in driving our strategic and operation goals, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our Waste Management and Cleansing Services team.

You will manage a 24/7 service delivery operation which includes a high risk, large and diverse outdoor workforce. You will lead a new culture of change with the ability to deliver successful outcomes.

Build sound relationships, drive internal communications and engage employees to support operational and strategic objectives that will be vital to our success, including; managing a work, health and safety strategies and work practices that enable all staff in creating an effective and strong safety culture.

You will also manage the implementation of the City's waste management strategies, including delivering recycling, waste programs and services.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in managing a large scale waste management service operation or similar service delivery environment.

You will have extensive experience in contract management and procurement requirements. In particular, you will have excellent stakeholder management and skills and be able to manage a complex workforce environment.
