Water Treatment & Water Resources Trainee

  • 2 x Full time role in Ballarat with field activities across the region.
  • 36-month Traineeship 
  • 1x CERT III Water Operations – specialising in Catchments and Dams
  • 1x CERT III Water Operations – specialising in Water Treatment

Are you seeking a career in Water Treatment and Water Resources and would love the opportunity to gain a Qualification while working?

As part of this role, you will be undertaking operational activities associated with Water Treatment and Water Resources assets. The successful candidate will be trained, mentored and supported in their journey towards competency in the fields of Water Treatment & Water Resources.

You will work with a friendly and supportive team as well as receiving ongoing support and mentoring. As part of your on the job training you will complete a nationally accredited qualification. The training will focus on developing your skills and ability to work as an effective team member to set you on the path for your career ahead. 

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Be committed to working in a professional environment that demands a high-level of competence and performance
  • Have a current Victorian Drivers Licence with experience in travelling large distances preferred
  • The physical ability to perform works outdoors and spending large periods of time driving across the region.
  • Understand the importance of working in a team environment and value your own contribution to the team
  • Have the ability to prioritise work with a high level of accuracy and efficiency 
  • Have a passion for learning and personal growth to successfully complete your Certificate during your traineeship

No prior experience is required, only your willingness to learn and contribute to the smooth and productive running of a passionate team.
