The role

The primary objective of this position is to select, maintain and continuously improve fleet, plant, equipment and tools used by the Civil Maintenance Team to deliver water and wastewater maintenance activities, supporting and leading safety and efficient delivery of services to our customers.

About you

You will actively contribute and foster a 'safety first' culture that supports CHW's aspiration of zero harm.

You have:

  • Experience managing, maintaining and operating plant and equipment in a civil maintenance (or similar) environment.
  • Relevant licences/certificates of competency
  • Track record of identifying and implementing improved ways of working (projects) that improve team safety, efficiency and/or effectiveness in a relevant field. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships and rapport with co-workers and other stakeholders.
