Based in Brisbane, the Commercial Manager – Energy Storage holds a key role in our Assets and Generation team who are responsible for the construction, operation and asset management of new and existing power projects.  The Commercial Manager is the driver of successful project delivery for our growing power business across large-scale renewable (i.e. solar and wind) and firming assets (i.e. storage and gas generation) in line with our strategic priorities.
  
Lead the change, from the frontline
  
With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:

• Provide Contract Management services to specific projects during their pre-execution, execution/construction and warranty phases.
• Technically support a range of business development activities related to greenfield project development, co-development activities and/or project acquisitions;
• Retain the commercial continuity of projects as they move from business development, through construction and handover to operations;
• Provide timely advice for renewable and firming energy developments from early stage, through to construction completion;
• Work closely with GM and team on building and refining the delivery strategy and model.

What you’ll bring
  
Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role:

• Proven experience and understanding of technical and commercial aspects of renewable and energy storage project development;
• Experience with working in the power market in Australia and knowledge of power generation landscape and market rules, regulations and key players including energy storage integrators/EPC providers;
• Experience with NEM grid connection processes for inverter-based renewable plant or energy storage assets;
• Experience with managing EPC contracts (specific experience on EPC contracts for energy storage preferred);
• Ability to work effectively across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations;
• Demonstration of intellectual curiosity and continuous learning is advantageous;
• A willingness to visit the project sites regularly as required;
• Degree in business/engineering, or relevant equivalent; and
• Drivers Licence.
