VMFRP MAJOR PROJECTS COORDINATOR

A new opportunity exists with Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) for an aspiring NRM-professional to work within the Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP) team and be directly involved in Victoria’s innovative plans to save priority Murray River floodplains.

In this role you will develop a deep technical understanding of complex environmental watering projects, while supporting vital project delivery. With demonstrated experience in environmental water management and tertiary qualifications in environmental science and/or environmental engineering, you will get to work with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team across numerous Victorian Government agencies and organisations.

This role requires previous experience in a similar role, managing teams and delivering operational excellence. You will have strong and effective organisational and communication skills, along with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple demands to meet tight deadlines.

The position is available on a full-time basis to 30 September 2022 (extension subject to funding) and flexible working hours are available. An attractive salary commencing from $116,897.92 is on offer and is negotiable dependent upon skills and experience.
