The Role
Business Technology Services (BTS) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Services division. This is a key role for the right person to work with the business and take on a le ad role in the development and management of the project delivery service to support the successful delivery of technology change.

Focus areas include;

• Developing the Project Delivery team with personal accountability and motivation
• Working with the business owner and BTS Project Services around sourcing of business and IT resources
• Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of projects with regard to budgets and external suppliers
• Project scheduling; creating and executing work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing requirements
• Managing project communications via team and stakeholder meetings and presentations

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate;

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management or Project Management Certification
• At least 7-10 years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager in order to apply delivery expertise and provide subject matter expertise
• Extensive experience in building and developing a project team to support the successful delivery of ICT projects
• Extensive experience in managing complex projects including multiple interfaces, dependencies, multiple suppliers and vendors
• Extensive experience in tender preparation, evaluation, contract preparation and management – SOW’s, Contracts\
• Demonstrated management skills to engage, coach and influence team members to achieve agreed outcomes
• Experience in developing and presenting business cases/justifications/cost benefit analysis/project approvals
